301 - VEHICLE STRUCTURE.
301.01 VEHICLE STRUCTURE DEFINED
The Vehicle Structure is set out to inform officers of the regulations and uses of vehicles in each and every department.
All officers shall treat the Vehicle Structure as an extension of the manual, and so purposefully violating regulations set out in the Vehicle Structure shall be treated as a policy violation.
301.02 PERFORMANCE MODIFICATIONS
The Department utilises vehicles with performance packages. Therefore, vehicles may be installed with Engine, Transmission and Brake upgrades.
The rule in 301.03 OTHER VEHICLE MODIFICATIONS regarding the prohibition of vehicle modifiers shall remain.
301.03 OTHER VEHICLE MODIFICATIONS
No department vehicles shall be modified outside of the use of regulation-following extras (found in Vehicle Structure).
Some examples of vehicle modifications which are not allowed include, but are not limited to:
Changing the paint colour (apart from examples like the LSPD Trek which must be painted white for Beach Detail duty, however, such examples are explicitly listed in the Vehicle Structure)
Using any other visual modification such as different wheel types, underglow etc
Using vehicle modifiers
