LOS SANTOS PARK RANGER DIVISION
Wearing of the Badge / Uniform
On-Duty, Uniformed Employees. Uniformed employees shall wear their official Department-issued badge on the outermost garment of their uniform.
On-Duty, Plainclothes Officers. On-duty, plainclothes officers shall wear their official Department-issued badge so it is readily accessible for presentation to members of the public.
WHO SHALL WEAR UNIFORM. All employees regardless of rank shall wear the prescribed uniform and personal equipment during their tours of duty.
EXEMPTIONS TO WEARING UNIFORMS. The following officers are exempted from wearing the prescribed uniforms - Command officers; and, Undercover and plainclothes assignment officers.
Accessories
BASEBALL CAP. May be worn with the Class B / C Uniform. Shall be plain, and olive green in color. It may optionally bear the white text "LSPR".
BELT. Black basketweave leather or nylon belt, with a gold or plastic buckle and gold or black pouch buttons.
CITATION BAR. Rangers may choose to wear an American Flag citation bar on their right breast pocket underneath their badge.
COLD WEATHER HAT. Rangers may choose to wear a black fleece cap during inclement weather.
CAMPAIGN HAT. Rangers may choose to wear a straw colored campaign hat when on patrol.
GLOVES. Black leather or knitted gloves may be worn for inclement weather. Gloves in solid, muted colors may be worn in situations where extra protection is required. Nitrile gloves may be worn when providing first aid, or collecting evidence.
MARKSMANSHIP BADGES (LOS SANTOS POLICE DEPARTMENT ISSUED). There are 4 different Marksmanship Badges. All requirements refer to OOC bounds, so usage on Patrol Division/Detective Bureau characters are permitted.
Note: Shall only be worn with standard Class A/B/C uniform shirts.
Marksman Marksmanship Badge: OOC Sergeant Is and above may assign the Marksman Marksmanship Badge to their character(s);
Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge: OOC Police Officer IIIs with at least 24 months of time in the Law Enforcement Faction may assign the Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge to their character(s);
Expert Marksmanship Badge: OOC Police Officer IIs and above with at least 12 months of time in the CTSOB's Tactical Response Teams may assign the Expert Marksmanship Badge to their character(s); and,
Distinguished Expert Marksmanship Badge: OOC Captains and above, and OOC Police Officer IIIs in the CTSOB's Special Weapons and Tactics Team's Sierra Cadre may assign the Distinguished Expert Marksmanship Badge to their character(s).
POLO SHIRT. Rangers may optionally choose to wear a polo shirt in lieu of a Class B / C shirt. It shall be grey in color, have a facsimile LSPRD badge embroidered on the left breast and bear the green text "RANGER" on the back.
SHOULDER / CHEST MIC. Rangers may choose to wear a shoulder or chest mic for their radio.
SWEATER. Rangers may optionally wear a woolen sweater. It shall be green in color and bear LSPRD patches.
TASER. If a ranger chooses to utilise a taser, they shall use a yellow taser.
TURTLENECK. Rangers may choose to wear a department-issued turtleneck under their duty shirt during inclement weather. It shall be green, and bear the text "RANGER"
UNIFORM TYPES
Class A Uniform
Shall be worn by any officer attending a formal event.
May be worn by officers conducting field activities.
SHIRT. Long sleeve shirt to be worn with the tie.
PANTS. Standard duty pants.
FOOTWEAR. Black boots.
BELT. Black flat leather or nylon belt, with a plastic buckle and gold or black pouch buttons.
Class B / C Uniform
May be worn by rangers conducting field activities.
SHIRT. Long sleeve or short sleeve shirt, with open collar.
PANTS. Standard duty pants.
FOOTWEAR. Black boots.
BELT. Black flat leather or nylon belt, with a plastic buckle and gold or black pouch buttons.
Brush Fire Uniform
Shall be worn by LSPRD personnel assisting firefighters with fighting brush fires or wildfires. (Note: do not attempt to fight such fires yourself)
HELMET. A yellow wide brim safety helmet shall be worn.
COAT. A brush fire coat shall be worn. It shall be yellow with reflective stripes and bear the text "LOS SANTOS CITY PARK RANGER" on the back.
PANTS. Brush fire pants shall be worn. They shall be yellow with reflective stripes.
FOOTWEAR. Black boots.
GLOVES. Protective gloves in muted colors shall be worn.
