When out on patrol, there are certain areas where a higher concentration of police-activity can help deter crime. These areas are potential crime hot-spots, and may be assigned out by on duty supervisors; however, there is nothing stopping an officer from conducting checks of these areas by their own tuition.

If you're assigned, or you wish to do so voluntarily, attend these addresses/properties to make sure everything is in order. Talk to the occupants/staff/members of the public at these locations if you feel it's appropriate to do so (for example, homeowners may get annoyed if officers are constantly knocking on their door to make sure everything is clear.)
