Detective Bureau Mission Statement

Under the Chief of Detectives, Detective Bureau (DB) provides functional leadership for detective operations Citywide, which accounts for approximately 3 assigned detectives. This includes the 7 geographic detective commands throughout the City and all specialized detective functions. DB provides line supervision over the following commands assigned to DB: Detective Support and Vice Division, Gang and Narcotics Division, and Robbery-Homicide Division.
